"Being Creative With Impact"
I have been fortunate to be able to visit Uganda, East Africa many times over the past three decades with Sister Schools, the non-profit organization that my husband, Terry McGill, founded in 1988. What an amazing opportunity and what a beautiful country!

I have formed a very special relationship with the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped. I always take a fun new quilting project to teach them and they always share their dyeing expertise with me.

I bring as much of the Kampala School's hand-dyed jacquard fabric home each time I go to Uganda. Check out the shop for these treasures. You can see the fabrics in person at local quilts shows in the Pacific Northwest. Check the events page for Needle Pulling Thread's next appearance.
